Because tonight, I celebrate my love for you, dearest trivia fan and/or person free on a Monday night. (See how I persoinalized that? Never let it be said I don’t care about you. Yes, you, Insert Name Here. You know I love you, baby.)

Anyway, tonight at 9:00, a new weekly trivia night kicks off at Shades of Green (125 East 15th Street, at Irving Place, about 100 yards from Union Square - map). It will grow into its own thing, but if you’ve been to the Drunken Smartass one at Dempsey’s, then you’ll understand how it works. 

There will be some drink specials, some prizes, a few new twists, and it will move faster (we’ll be done by 11:00, if that’s a concern), but it’s going to be a lot of fun, and I look forward to a night where I can experiment with the form a little bit. 

Please come on out and check it out. I’d really like to see you, and I think the place is pretty cool.

By the way, Dempsey’s is back on this Wednesday as well, so don’t knock yourself out if you can’t make both. Just be sure to make one. At least.
