TriviaNYC Podcast #27: Haimageddon, Crystals, and “Throat Yogurt”
We picked a busy week to return: The Oscars, the death of the most screwed up child star most of us will probably ever see, and in New York, a storm that made us all believe, if just for one magical moment, that we had taken our vacation to Bangladesh in exactly the wrong season.
But we’re back, baby, and all this (literal) sturm und drang only serves to punctuate that fact! Do your worst, Prospero! Bring the heavens down upon our heads, and let the torrents wash the scum from these streets! As long as our iPods stay dry and the Wifi doesn’t go out in this cafe, we’re friggin’ golden!
Um.
This week’s podcast is about halfway to what I want as the new format. I have a few ideas that didn’t make this episode but will show up in future ones, but if there’s any glaring omissions or ideas you may have, let me know. We’re not starting from scratch here anymore, and I feel like this could be something really good. Enjoy.

Which, I hasten to add, is not the case.
Oh, and if this podcast is your only connection to New York trivia, then I’m sorry we’ve been away so long, and for some of you, I’m sure you’re surprised that you never unsubscribed to this thing, and that it’s actually not completely dead. To you especially, I say, it’s good to be back in your inbox, and I wouldn’t have come back if I didn’t intend to get back into the swing of things with this.
One more thing: if you like this podcast, please, please, spread the word. If you don’t, please, let me know, either via Twitter (@TriviaNYC) or by email (TonyHightower at gmail).
Thanks.
